The FCT Area Command of Nigeria Customs Service on Tuesday, 24th June 2025, witnessed another historic handing-over ceremony as the outgoing Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Olu Adebisi, passed the baton of leadership to the incoming Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Victoria Chinwe Aliboh, under the watchful eyes of the officers/men of the Command in o closed door section at the Command’s Conference Hall.

The tenure of the outgoing Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Olu Adebisi lasted for a Year and Nine (9) months, during which numerous visible achievements were recorded. Some of his achievements include the impressive revenue generation and collection, ensuring compliance of excise factories, establishing of Bonded Terminals etc.

The outgoing Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Olu Adebisi in his speech, expressed his appreciation to the officers of the command for the dedication and cooperation given to him during his tenure. He spoke glowing of the incoming CAC as a seasoned career officer from the Department of ICT & Modernization at the Headquarters where she served as Comptroller RISK MANAGEMENT with a track record of excellence. he appealed to the officers of the command to work collaboratively with the incoming CAC in order to achieve the set goals of revenue generation and the mandate of the CGC, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi mfr fnipr psc+

The incoming Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Victoria Chinwe extended her appreciation to the outgoing CAC and also congratulated him on his successful completion of his career as a Customs Officer and wished him a happy retirement life. She solicited the cooperation and support of the officers to achieve the mandate of the CGC. In conclusion, She wished the outgoing CAC the best in his future endeavours.

Jude Anisha Deputy Superintendent of Customs and Public Relations Officer of the command revealed that goodwill messages from Officers to the outgoing Customs Area Controller were full of praises and commendations for his numerous achievements during his tenure as the controller of the command
